Back to TopFee Overview

Tewes Group LLC conducts two forms of searches with client companies. Tewes Group always operates on a strictly employer paid service charge basis, with no part of the charge paid by the candidate. Fees are calculated on a percentage of the employee's annual base salary compensation.

Priority Search

A priority search is a combination of a contingent and retained search. Clients continue to share that this is "the best of both worlds". In a priority search, a portion (usually 1/3) of the anticipated total fee is paid in advance to "engage" the search. The remaining 2/3 of the balance is not paid until successful completion of the search. Once the offer of employment has been accepted and a start date established, the full amount of the engagement fee is applied to the total fee. We build performance guarantees into the search, making it a limited risk proposition for you as our client.

Many of our clients are finding that it is the most effective way to work with us because of the mutual commitment and partnership in this type of search. You receive many of the same benefits and focus of a retained search, yet see faster results with a much lower financial commitment. We gladly discount our standard contingent fee in a priority search scenario, because you are making a financial commitment to partnering with us. Your search becomes an absolute PRIORITY, hence the name.

Contingent Search

On a contingent search, there is no financial commitment by the client company on the front end of the search until a candidate is actually hired. Once the offer of employment has been accepted and a start date established, you are billed a percentage of the employee's annual base salary. Priority searches always take precedence over our contingent searches.
